PAINTING DILEMMA. . .

Does anybody know if you can paint the center grill bar (w/the bowtie) and the side mirror covers? It looks like there's almost a chrome 'sticker' on the front horizontal grill bar. I want to black my '99 Silverado out. If it's possible, does anyone know how to go about it and what paint to use?

 

While I'm at it, how about the bumper chrome? Is there an easy way anybody knows of to paint that?

yea you should be able to paint that just make sure you prep it properly before you paint it.

i painted over the chrome one the mirrors and the grille. if prepped right, they will hold up. but you have to have the right stuff. as for the chrome bumper. you can get a Z71 tahoe front bumper like i did, or get your bumper sandblasted. good luck
