Regency Silverado (SS killer?)

Was at the local Chevy dealer getting my '03's tail lights replaced and noticed a lowered '04 standard cab, shortbed on the showroom floor. It was SWEEEEEET!!! Upon closer inspection, it was sent out to one of the custom places that does cars/trucks for dealers. This was a Regency custom. I gotta say, most are pretty lame, but this truck was probably the nicest and best done truck I have seen. It had a 2/4" drop, 20" Foose rims, AirRaid intake, 5 speed manual tranny w/ short throw shifter, cat-back exhaust w/ duals out the back, roll pan, custom red paint w/ black racing stripes, and oh, did I mention a Whipple S/C??? Yeah, This thing will give the Lightning a run for it's money. Only problem was it was $38,000. I think the Lightning is like 34 or 36? And it's a Chevy. Too bad the bowtie folks can't produce something like this from the factory.....

Regency conversions are everywhere here, but they have auto tranny's, and no whipple.

They are around 30 grand for a reg-cab sportside, up to 55k for a 2500HD with a 6" lift, and 18" rims....I can't believe people pay that much, but I see them everywhere.
