Cheap seatbelt housing

The plastic housing that the seatbelts dispense out of pinches and has such a poor angle that it is a struggle to pull out. This is on my new 2500hd Silverado. Then of course it won’t retract. I normally have a lose belt hanging in my lap. There is a button on the housing to help retract the belt, but it’s slow and who wants to do that every time. Does anyone have a solution?
