Hey ya'll. I'm new here to the board and I'd like to show you some pics of my S-10. Comments on the truck? How would you make it look? I was thinking about getting some beefier looking tires, but I'm still debating. Tell me what ya'll think. :sigh:

By the way, how do you enter pics anyways?

:P

You can see it because your PC has it stored in it's temp files. That way when you surf there, it just calls the pic up from your hard drive, instead of downloading an image everytime you visit a page. This speeds up surfing, and reduces bandwidth.

If you delete your temp internet files, and then hit "refresh" on your browser, the pic will not show up anymore.

I see the pic just fine. Sharp looking truck. How many miles on it? What year? Those look like the stock tires, they must be close to worn out by now. What brand tonneau cover on it?

As for things to do to it. Does it have a bed liner? If not and you have a couple hundred laying around, get a Line-X sprayed in. I have one, it looks great, and over the rail still works with the tonneau cover. I actually think that truck looks REAL nice as it is. If you notice mine doesn't have any badges or the side moulding and looks REAL nice, but with the white truck the side moulding breaks things up and makes it look better.

Here's a pic of mine.

Hey hey!! You're the first to finally see my truck. I thank you for the nice comments. Your truck looks very sharp and nice as well. I like the color. Have you considered decals? Yes, they are stock tires and almost worn out. I took it to a dealer to get them rotated and had my alignment checked, but they're still wearing pretty bad. I was thinking of getting black mouldings, but thought it'd be too much black. I do have a bed liner, a rhino liner. I was thinking of getting my bed sprayed, but decided not to. I like the bed liner I have now, it's rough, and will do for me. The tonneau cover is made by LeBra. Going back to the tires, I was thinking of getting more rugged looking tires. I'll wait and see though. I wish I had the lift and tires the ZR-2 has. Thanks again for the comments!

I kinda like the clean look mine has, with no decals or emblems. What's the budget on tires? There are several name-brand tires you could look at, and one off-brand that seems to be pretty good. I've heard good things about Bridgestone Dueler Revo IIs, Michelin LTX M/S and have had experience with BFG All-Terrain T/A KO tires. I have Futura Dakota RVT tires on my current truck, they were new when I got it. They're Pep Boy's tires but they handled 4" of snow better than the BFGs did on an SUV. Even in a light-tailed pickup I was able to drive 45 on a twisty road, in 4WD with the Futuras. Wet traction seems better than the BFGs was also. Pricing on them is VERY competetive, the Futuras start at $82 each, for the 31x10.5's I have, the BFGs are $125 each (installed) for the same size, at a discount club where I'm a member.

What mouldings were you looking at, wheel flares? If so, I hear Bushwacker makes good ones, but then you'd need wider tires to make it look right.

Hey blue, I got a 95 white zr2 and I don't have any body moldings, or decals on it (except the s10 on the door). I have had a lot of compliments on it, and i thikn it looks good. The only part I miss about the no moldings is the door dings at college :cheers: those disrespectful brats that just throw open their doors

Whitehot I still can't see you pic...

If I could figure out how to share my imagestation I would post some pics of mine....

Anyway, good luck..

Tom
