3500 Dually Rear Running Lights on 2500HD

I'd like to put a set of the factory running lights from a 03-04 dually, i.e. the three red lights between the bumper and taillight above the license plate, on my 2500HD. Has anyone done this and or think of any problems why this wouldn't work, could the wiring already be there? I've seen the Line of Fire units but just want a smaller accent.

Can't imagine you'd have any problems if you know what you're doing !!!

 

I have them on my 1500HD. Get them from the dealer and hit a running light- hot lead. I'm considering a line of fire- I'll let you know if mine comes up for sale !!

I did that right away on my truck, got the light from the dealer when I picked up the truck. It was about $20 if I remember right but they threw it in on the deal. Really easy, but the harness is not a plug-in deal on 2500HD's. You just need to hit the running light feed and ground to the body. I think the 3500 (and quadrasteer) harness is different because of this lamp and the fiberglass fender lights.

How do the lights attach? Are they sticky or is there drilling required, and how did you hide your wiring.

i personally am not doing this i am having an shop do this i just cannot bring myself to drill holes into my truck
