03' Chevy RCSB vs. Newer Rebadged Neon

Alright, coming home yesterday afternoon, I happened upon a Bright Yellow Dodge Neon at a Stoplight (4 lane road, no traffic). Being the car nut I am, I notice the "SRT4" badge on the back of the car as I pull up beside it. It had a tall spoiler, different wheels, badging as an SRT, but no dual exhaust. So I was thinking, cool, this guy must be a gearhead too, mods his car, changed the factory exhaust, etc...

Well, when I get up beside it, I look over and see this young guy ~15 or 16, with a friend of his, glaring over at me like they want to beat the hell out of me or something. I get a good laugh out of that, and roll the passenger window down...

Instead of them trying to say anything, I am greeted by the sound of a poor little 4 cylinder being revved to some ungodly high amount of RPM's. (Also, I notice no turbo spool, or bypass sounds at this point... hmmm). Well, I guess the little terd was proud of himself, as he looked over and said something to the effect of "Redneck pile of junk" and something about a "d**n truck". Hell, I was getting really tickled then. They went back to revving it about the time I blipped the throttle to about 1/4 pedal and let off. They both looked over, and we had the following conversation:

Me: "That thing got a Hemi? (While laughing)"

Terd: "Hell no, this fu#$%er is a turbo... it'll smoke your ass."

Me: "Ok, let's run a little then... say to 70"

Terd: "[REVVING THE HELL OUT OF HIS CAR... Brrrrrr, Brrrrr, Pop, pop... ] No response"

Anyways, we still had to sit for another 20 seconds or so as this light was rediculously long. Well, at the Cross-light's change to Yellow, I held the brake in a little and gave it enough throttle to load the suspension a little bit. At green, terd dumps the hell out of his clutch and starts spinning... At any rate, when I let out at 70MPH I was probably 25 yards ahead of them, at a conservative estimate. Evidently he was still running wide open as he was coming up behind me... I waited till his front bumper was even with my rear and went WOT at ~60... He didn't even make it all the way up beside me. lol.

Anyways, terd immediately slammed his brakes and turned around in the median of the road and took off the other way. I haven't had that much fun in a while, it was some funny stuff. I wished it had been one of the Turbo neons, it would have been cool to see one of those things run. I figured I would share.
