Vent Fan stops working for no reason

I have a 98 1500 Z71 that I am absolutley in love with except for the annoying problem that I have been having over the last couple of weeks or so. Intermittently when go somehwere and turn the fan up to cirulate some more air, the fan does not run at all. Anyone have any ideas?

Does it not run on all positions on the switch? i.e. low, med, high. If not, I would put a volt meter on the fan motor connection and see if you are getting power to the fan. If you are getting power there, the fan motor is gone. If you are not getting power there, the switch is bad. Since you said it was a intermediate problem, it wouldn’t be a fuse.

When it does not work, it does not work at all on any setting. I was going to play with it after work today as it is nice weather today.
