2023 Noise- Possible brake issue

Hello, 

I have a 2023 Sierra Pro X31 4x4 with the 5.0L.  It has less than 10K miles and still under warranty. Since new I noticed that in cold weather it makes what sounds like a brake scrubbing noise when I first start rolling after initial start-up. Once I roll a few feet it makes no other noise until it sits and gets cold soaked again. 
I assumed it was some sort of anti-skid test and thought no more of it. 
Today we have single digit temps with lots of snow in TN. It’s the coldest I’ve operated the truck since new. I had to use 4-low for the first time for necessity to get out of the driveway. I noticed the same noise was extremely pronounced and lasted a bit longer than usual today. 
 

Does anyone know what this noise might be and if it’s normal? I hate to take it to the dealer if not necessary. The truck has never been back to the dealer and completely trouble free other than this noise.

Might it be the electronic parking brake automatically disengaging? If you're not manually releasing the park brake, try that first and see if that changes the noise or makes it go away. Shift to drive with foot on brake, and with foot still on brake, hit the park brake button and wait for it to fully release and confirm that the dash light goes out, then roll forward.

 

The other suspect could be Park Grade Hold Assist, which I believe is an automatic feature. If you are starting out on a grade, the brakes may automatically hold the vehicle until you give throttle input.

I park on flat surfaces normally. Hardly ever need the park brake. Definitely not due to me setting the brake manually.

It never makes the noise during the heat of the summer. I’d say over about 65F I’ve never heard it.
