Hello all, new to the forums.  I have a 2018 Chevy Silverado, I bought it brand new, but have had issues with it from the start.  Many check engine lights and service warnings starting the first year I bought it. I have to take it in a couple times a year to get things resolved.

Just off the top of my head there have been EVAP issues, emissions systems errors, fuel injector control module went bad, open wires or ground wires shorted out on driver side running light/tail light, Trailer Brake, Brake Assist.  I have taken it to two different dealerships to work on it.  At this point my extended warranty has ended but I'm wary of the future since each repair seems to cost like $700 (up to now all issues have been covered under the extended warranty).

Typically what seems to happen is that I take it in for one thing, and I drive it off the lot and a new error comes up.  So whenever they go to fix one thing, they break another thing.  I don't think it is completely poor workmanship at the dealership, it feels like the wiring harnesses that run under the truck were doomed from the start.  Anyone else have this experience?  Every issue is slightly different so I'm getting hosed on the lemon law.

First off, wrong forum section.  Should have been in the 14-18 section.

Second.  Nobody is going to lemon law a now 8 year old truck.

Sell it and buy something else.

Apologies, I did not see the 2018 section.

Yes - I wasn't expecting a lemon law on an 8 year old truck.  Just meant that it was never an option and that's frustrating to deal with so many issues on a new truck.
