Trailblazer Brake lights

I have an 03 Trailblazer Ext. I have been through 3 brake lights on the left side and 2 on the right. i have also noticed other Trailblazers on the road with burned out brake lights. does anyone know of any problems with Trailblazers

GM's Techlink site http://service.gm.com./gmtechlink/images/i...t_mo/TLcme.html has some info about tail lights failing in the Fix It Right The First Time section. It has been discussed on other forums. Seems the bulb contacts are becoming pitted and corroded. If your still under warranty you should be able to have your dealer fix this at no cost since it seems to have a TSB attached to the info.

Yeah...I always seem to notice my L side light has alot of moisture in it where as the R side never does...is there a leak or something that gets in there?

I haven't noticed any moisture in mine.i'm taking it in for service in a week I'll get them to fix it right. Thanks for input

I went in for service and told them about the problem in fact the right brake was out again. They replaced the light sockets without any hesitation.

My '02 was getting moisture in the left light and the bulbs on both sides blew. They replaced the whole left side and the circuit board and put a new bulb in the right. I heard that GM had bought a crap load of bad bulbs.
