I searched the site and did not find much info on this tire/wheel combo. Debating on new whee&tires and am wondering if anyone is running this size. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Figured I would have to crank the t-bars a bit as they are about the same size as the 285/75/16's, kinda wondered about back spacing also.

I have a 2000 Silverado K2500

Thanks :loser:

Um I dont think you will have any issues. Crank the bars a bit and they should be fine. I have a set of H2 wheels that I was going to use with my lift kit but the back spacing wont work. Not sure what stock back spacing is but the H2 wheels are 5.5"

stick with something close to the stock back spacing do not do any of the -25 crap they will stick out of the wheel well to far.. try to stick with a -6 to 0 offsett as far as the tire rim combo goes it will work fine that width is about perfect for a 285 series tire.. and you can stilll up grade to a 305 with out mutch probs

oh and yes crank on the t bars abit and and ditch the mud flaps if you have them also make sure that your inner fenders are all securely mounted where they are supposed to be.. happy trails and show us some picks if you have a hd truck youll have to do more trimming GM screwd the suspension on those for bigger wheels and tires..

you can get 305-70s on a 1500 with just a little trim around the edges
