service eng. codes 35 & 36

i installed a powerdyne throttle body 1 inch spacer on my 95 gmc burb 2500 7.4l TBI

after about 80 miles (while idleing, i put it into gear and my service engine soon light came on).

i checked the code's (ground a & b) it blinked 35 and 36.

the air sensor and rpm idle sensor...

i figure the spacer isn't hurting anything, but how do i get my service light to stay off.

i gained almost a full MPG (.9) so i want to keep the spacer.

are there any remedies other than black electricle tape over the light???

thank you.

Dumb question, but did you plug the IAC connector in all the way :sigh:

You can also check for a vacuum leak, the bolts may have loosened ...a leak would also trigger the codes...also check to make sure that a vacuum line didnt pop off or loosen....if all else fails...disconnect the batt. negative cable 4 a minute to clear the codes and see if they return.....

PS...welcome to the board :)
