Tire Rotation Needed??? Help

I just bought this truck. It has 48K miles and fairly new tires...

 

Problem is I don't know what cycle the Tire Rotation is right now...

 

The Front tires currently have less tread than the rears. So.. Should I rotate them or leave them?

 

I know Front Wheel Drive Cars typically burn up the fronts faster than the rears.. But I am new to Trucks...

I recomend rotating your tires every other oil change, every 6,000 miles. The front cross to the back and the back come straight up. This way you will get good wear on all four tires. When you say they have less tread do you mean even wear throughtout the tire or more of an alighnment issue or problems worn suspension compenents would cause?

Perfect wear.. Just the fronts are more worn than the rears...

With the power steering of today's vehicle's, if you have a front blow out it is easier to control then a rear blowout....which depending on how/when it happens can make you slide.
