Backseat rattle

Does anybody know how i can stop the backseat from rattling in my extended cab NBS 1999 Sierra. There is a small rubber bumper on the top of the seat where it latches into the back of the cab, but I have one that is missing. the dealer can't find a part number for it. Anybody know what the number might be, or a fix for the rattle. Thanks

i just replaced mine last week! i got the part at the dealer - i can check the part number when i get home tonite if no one else has it. the parts guy told me that gm used 2 different types of these little bumpers - 1 was for 2 round holes, the other for a round hole + an oval hole. i will post the number tonite...

this is the part number for the one with 1 round hole and 1 oval hole = 88934669

i dont know the number for the one with 2 round holes, but this number should get them on the right track.

btw, they cost 7.21 each. the 2 round hole ones were cheaper - around 3.50

Thanks for the info. Mine has two round holes, i think the number is 12475342. I finally found the bulletin number ( 99-08-50-005 ) and the dealer pulled it up for me. They couldn't find it, but i finally did after alot of searching. Thanks for the reply
