Front Lift 1997 GMC

Hey Guys,

Had a question about lifting the front of a 1997 GMC 1500 2wd pickup. I was looking to give it a little height and have the truck sit level. Currently the back has a small lift, which came factory. So there is a rake from back to front. Not sure if to go with taller coil springs or a another way. Thanks for your time......................502rawpower

You can use lift spindles to lift the front. I beleive most are 3.5 inches. I'm not sure if anyone makes lift coils for the front. I don't beleive Daystar makes a coil spring spacer for the 88-98 4x2 GM's. Try contacting Fabtech, they make a lot of 4x2 lift kits. I know they make spindles for your truck. They may make lifted coil springs also.
