My bros and dad were talking about how crappy our old 96 is, and he's thinkin about gettin rid of the 96 for the new cummins OVER A DMAX/ALLY?!?!?!?!?!

I was like well, it DOIES have best in clas torque. He said he saw one in the paper or down by the dealer or something, a quad cab 3500, cummins w/ the 4 or 5 spd auto w/e it is, for like $25 sumthen. That's a pretty good price. I think we'll be going to drive it later today

Cummins is a great engine. I wouldn't give a nickle for the rest of the truck due to past experiences. Especially the transmission.

That's why he doesn't want it, mainly since it's a Dodge and our experiences with our current one, and since it's a diesel. I mean hell, it's worth the investment if we're going to be doing 6-10 hr drives to go racing, but we'll see.

The worst part is that my middle age dad is now developing the ricer mentality. He thinks his 93 HP hybrid is the coolest and fastest thing ever. I have driven the hybrid before...try to imagine driving a Geo Metro with the ebrake on, that's kind of like driving my dad's car (and why I don't drive it).

What kind of problems have you seen in the hybrids?

The only BIG problem I have seen with the Hybrids (and the entire civic line) is that the manual transmissions get noisy or pop out of 2nd gear going around turns. Other than that and being slower than a snail, they really don't have any issues.
