DEADLY FORCE

I'm thinking on getting meself a handgun.  I pretty much decided on a Glock.  What I'm undecided on is which one.  I narrowed it down to the 17, 20 or the 22.

The 17 is a 9 mm.  The 20 is a 10 mm.  And the 22 is a .40.

Other then the caliber, they are pretty much the same.  Kinda leaning more towards either the 17 or 20.  I'm afeared that the 22 would have too much recoil and throw off aim.

Any input?

I don't know much about the Glock, but I do know that the 9mm Baretta is a fine shooting weapon.

My personal favorite is the S&W .357 Magnum with a 6" barrel.

I guess I'm kind of old fashioned, but I have never seen a revolver jam, so it is my #1 choice

A 10mm light and a .40 would have about the same  amount of recoil. A "hot" load for the 10mm would have more recoil than the 9mm and .40. If you are going to carry concealed look at the G19. If you're real worried about recoil a 9mm should be ok. If you haven't shot a .45 you might want to. The recoil is'nt that bad and you get used to it pretty fast. I have a G17, G26, and G21. I'm planning on getting a G30 someday.
