1995 Blazer Popping sound from dash

I have a 95 Blazer 4x4 4-Door LT.  There is a popping sound coming from about a foot in front of the center a/c vents every now and then.  Kinda like a popping or clicking sound, happens every so often, really noticable.  Anyone have any idea what it is?

Hey I had a 96 ZR2 that did the same thing. My wife had a 97 2Dr Blazer and hers didn't do that, but have a Buddy that has a 97 four door LT that it does do it in.. I think it is something to do with the expanding and contracting of the plastic, due to heat and cold. There is really nothing to worry about, it seems pretty common in these vehicles.

Mine has done this since new. It seems to mainly occur when the heater is on. Nothing to worry about, as far as I'm concerned...

Or it could just be the plastic in the dash expanding and contracting with the change in temperature.  I haven't had a car yet to date that hasn't done this a little.

My '95 Jimmy did exactly the same thing - kinda annoying the first few times it happened.  I also chalked it up to expansion/contraction when the heater was on.  It seemed infrequent enough to me that we just got used to it, so I never brought it up w/ the dealer.

Other than the annoyance factor, don't think it's anything serious.

My '95 did it all the time.  I also think the passenger side plastic A-pillar cover would "snap" occassionally.

Just it expanding and contracting not only with temperature, but to the twisting/flexing of the body.
