'04 Silverado Z71 package

The Z71 package doesn't come with steering wheel controls and I would like to have the additional functions such as estimated travel distance at current fuel consumption rate, etc... that come with the DIC and the steering wheel controls.

 

Can I get the controls added and the extra information be available, or does there need to be additional components added?
