Body Lifts

Trying to get my "ducks in a row", Exhaust is still up in the air, but I am going to get a system soon. So many sound clips to listen too and I still can't decide! Brute Force intake is in the mail and I am curious about a body lift.

 

I have a 2000 1500 Z71, est. cab, short bed. I am running 285's on 16x8 Burst wheels. I don't really have rubbing issues, but I am wanting the body to sit a little taller. I am considering a 2 inch or 3 inch body lift.

 

Anyone have pics of their truck with these tires and a 2 or 3 inch lift? I don't want to be REAL tall, just a touch taller than stock.

 

The kitchen is all but done, so it is time to do some "toy shopping" for my ride!!

My friends and I put a 3" body lift on a 2001 1500 Z71 reg cab and it looks great!

Bandera has a 2000 ext cab Z71 with a 3" body lift and it looks like the truck should have came from the factory IMO.You can check out some pics here.

Hey Frank did your friend have to modify the ranch hand front end with the 3 inch body lift???

Yes he did.

 

His son has a lot of experience welding and he made brackets for the bumper if I recall correctly.
