Well first off I m glad to be back here... Its been a crazy while but I m back.. I ve been working non stop with my job and its been great. I try to keep busy working cause the way I look at it if I m not working I m kinda losin out..

My fulltime job now covers me from tues-fri and I get my 40 hrs a week.. But lately I ve been starting to get greedy.. I m working for a friend of mine nights so I end up puttin in around 15 - 20 hours a day.. I keep healthy which is the main reason I think I can keep this up because I drink a lot of water, eat a lot of fruit, etc and try to stay as healthy as possible..

I have several goals in mind to have done by this time next year which is save up at least half to put down on the 05 Z71 that I m going to be ordering, and finish building the jeep to the way I want. Everyone asks me why cant I be happy with just one vehicle and I tell them why cant someone be happy with one pair of shoes??? I m working my heart out to get this truck and I wont stop until I get it!!!

Now dont get me wrong when I m tired I dont do it, I dont put anyone elses life in danger to better myself, thats not the way I work..

My parents dont like me doing it because they tell me to enjoy my time because eventually I will regret what I m doing but I told them Im 22 years old, I would like to better myself now what I can handle it. I enjoy work I guess, guys at work tell me to get a girlfriend but I told them when I do decide to slow down then thats what I ll do..

Am i nuts?? LOL

I like work too, only problem is the only people who hire me are the ones who have known me for a while and know the attention to detail I put in my work. Places that don't know me think I'm a lazy punk ass teenager who won't do good work. In the end they loose because they end up with someone four years older who sits on their ass all day.

Welcome Back Chev! :troll:

Did you give up the Truck-driving gig?

Hey General :bs:

I still drive full time for Coke.. Its nice now cause I deliver the vending machines all day so there's two guys in the truck instead of one when ur delivering pop.. So I dont have to do all the driving all the time...

Were still puttin like 500+ kms a day which is tiring but its so nice they hired an extra driver for the two equipment delivery trucks.. I still keep meaning to take a few pics of my truck at work but we've been runnin around non stop its been crazy..

Lots of fun :flag::flag::flag:

Hey, while you were gone I was an independent contract route driver for a third party vending company......but I had to use my own vehicle, and I ended up getting to be so fast on the route that I wasn't getting paid much at all, since I got paid hourly, so I left. it was cool to be "Self empolyed" at 18 tho

I feel like you have to make goals for yourself and do your best to acheive them, or what are you good for. If getting that truck is your goal right now then do what you need to to get it. If you feel like you are overworking yourself then slow down a little, but if you are still wanting more when it comes time to clock out go for it.

I'vew kinda got the same problem as Mr Taco :bs:

My neighbors always ask me to help them to do this, help them to do that, and they pay me dang good, but they see how hard I work usually and if I start slakcing they get pissed. This weekend I helped my neighbor smooth the front yard out, lay 600+ sq. ft. of sod, "design" a border (omg it took us like 3 fricken hrs which would have taken me like 20 min.), haul like 50 fricken wheel barrow loads of dirt to the creek to dump, use my truck and my gas to drive out to pick up the sod we were short of, etc etc. He's paying me like $13 an hr, so it works out good :troll:

My "main" car will be back within a week or two I'm hoping, and school's out Friday, so I need to start looking for a good job. Prolly going to get one asta local parts store or Exhaust shop <-----Can ya figger? lol

But hey, that's great work ethic. I wish I knew how to save!
