Seat Fabric Defect TSB??

[03GMCSierra4.8L]

At the bottom in the front of both the Drivers and Pass seat where the Adj lever is the fabric where it is hooked to the metal cross bar of the seat keeps coming unhooked. It has a plastic clip channel that I can reinstall over the metal bar but within a few days the front fabric is hanging loose again.

 

Its an 03 RCLB Sierra 13k miles, was curious if anyone has had this happen and if a TSB exists on a fix. I figured I can RTV the clip channel and reistall it but thought I would chk here first. I would like to keep it out of the dealer if possible as its never been back and its a crap shoot on what they will hose up in the process of a fix!

My driver side seat had the same prooblem. After closer inspection I noticed that I was only rehooking the front edge and not the side (closest to the console). After I hooked the side and front it hasn't come loose again.

I checked the side fabric and its all attached and clipped on fine. So it appears to be just an issue on mine with the front.

 

Anyone else out there have this issue now or in the past....or am I just "special"?

When I ran a history at the dealer for mine I found that the driver's seat cushion had been "repaired or replaced". Maybe the same deal?
