Is this safe?

I came across this on eBay (pic below for those too lazy to click the link). In the picture of the glasspacks, it looks like they are under the cab or close to it. Is it safe to have them dumping there? I think I would rather have the exhaust coming out a little bit farther from the cab, especially with the rust developing on that truck.

Probably just bolted on the cheapest thing to replace the rusted out exhaust system. Not a good idea to have exhaust dump under the vehicle.

It wouldnt be bad at 200 mph, but otherwise, that's a lot of carbon dioxide monoxide or w/e in the cab, especially at a stop

Turndowns will need to be added to those "mufflers". That will help getting the exhaust out from under the vehicle.

Those look like "Cherry Bomb" mufflers that Pep Boys used to sell for like $14.99....Had a buddy do exactly what's in that pic, and they were loud as he!!. Never got any fumes in the cab though (72 swb Chevy).
