I took this with my cell, I will get some better pics and some performance vids ta yall after monday :D .

Ok, its a 98, 1.25L 74hp gasser, 5 spd man, and has 27,000 miles. Its fully loaded including a/c and sunroof. Only 1 lady owner. Super clean and well taken care of. New tires, full service history, 6 month warranty, 1 year MOT, 6 months tax, fresh service... Only 3,400 pounds (english money) and 3-4 level insurance (cheap).

I test drove it today and it was me, my mom, and my dad, im about 220 and my dad is about 250lbs, with a/c running, the little 1.25L never struggled at all, acually it was kinda peppy. We check through its service history and checked oer the car pretty good and I pick it up on monday!!! No more bike!!!! HEHE

I know ita a ford, but its by far the best deal we came across!!

What is the model name? It almost looks like the Escort or Focus. Not too familiar with Fords overseas, and Ford's UK site doesn't provide many resources. Although.... the Zetec engine is used for those cars here in the states, so I may be right with either one.

:jester: stuff, but  pics!

When I lived in England (late 90s) I originally had a Peugeot 106GTi that went like hell- weighed around 2,000 lbs and had 130 hp, essentially a big go-cart:

But, three speeding tickets inside a month and a half (damned traffic cameras- nobody bothered to mention their presence) resulted in my company giving me a VW Polo, one of the bigger pieces of crap I've ever driven. Barely enough power to get out of its own way.

Ahhh.... thanks for the pics. The memories. I used to have lunch every Sunday at the Pizza Hut across the street from the castle. Reminded me of home and they took American Express. It's the little things in life...

Yea those speed cameras are out there... they have signs warning about them now and they also have radar detectors/gps things that warn you of any approuching camera... There legal 'cause detector owners have 27% fewer car wrecks than non. Your 106 is near the say wieght of my car and almost twice the hp :banghead:

My parents have a 4500lbs 406 desiel and it averages 37mpg, mostly stop and go driving. It can get 60+mpg doing 50mph. Peaked at 912mpg coasting to a stop. (onboard digital mpg thingy)
