Predator, Designed to Raise... what?

I just got my predator and hooked it up to my 99 sierra 5.3, loaded the performance settings, filled the tank with 93 fuel, and I get almost no change in performance  Does it take the pcm a while to adjust, or is it really not gonna help that much? (I already drove it about 100 miles on the 'performance' tune)

It may take a while but it should be there now. Maybe you set your expectations to high. I resently install a Hyper Tech programmer on my 2000 K3500 with a 93 octane tune. The engine is smoother cruising and less "mushy" around town and I picked up about a mile per gallon in mileage in town but there was no big performance jump per say, it is just more refined now with abit more power too.

hmm... i was fiddling around with it and found out that almost any timing advance over 1% performance tune will set off the knock sensors and retard timing 8*...I tried compensating with increased PE numbers, but it kept throwing me down 8* The DTC also had 2 entries about knock sensors with low voltage  , causing the ses light to eventually turn on after reapted wot runs. I reset the codes and it turns off ses light. Any ideas???

Alright dont worry about my problem anymore... im gonna try replacing/cleaning up the knock sensors this weekend, as I am fairly certain this is the issue
