What to do???

What's is there to do near Raliegh/Durham? I'll be down there for work for 2 weeks starting next week and need to find something fun after work.

There are plenty of places to go in downtown Raleigh (museums, nightlife, restaurants, etc). Durham Bulls games (in Durham of course). Mountains are 2-4 hours to the west, beaches are 2-4 hours to the east. Plenty of golf courses. I guess it depends on what you want to do. Where are you going to be at? Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill?

Henderson. I think it's like an hour north of R/D.

There is Lake Gaston close to you if you want to do the outdoor thing. For everything else, you could either drive down US1 to Raleigh or take I 85 South to Durham. Both about an hour drive either way. Check out this link:
