How do you reset the % "counter"

There's two methods.

 

With the ignition key in the on position depress the gas pedal three times slowly, for example, press to the floor one Mississippi press to the floor two Mississippi...

 

The second method is for those with the drivers information center. Press the road icon button on the steering wheel to show the oil life % then hold the left arrow button down till it resets. Just like resetting the trip miles and avg mpg.
