Auxiliary Input Unit (PAC AAI-GM24)

I just purchased a PAC AAI-GM24 from JP Customs and both Aux1 and Aux2 have a slight static/crackling noise that is present whether or not the car is on. It is not quite a random static noise but rather a high-pitched data-stream (perhaps?) noise. I've changed the grounds and power supplies to no avail. Anyone have any clues?

Do you have devices hooked up to both inputs? I get some bad alternator whine through my AAI-GM12 when I tried to use both inputs. I finally gave up and just used one input. If I switch over to the 2nd input when something is playing on the first I do hear some bleed over from the first input (crunching/crackling). I talked to PAC about the alternator whine and they have some kind of power filter they thought would clear it up, but I never got around to tracking one down and installing it. Call PAC and see if they can tell you anything.
