00 Silverado Thermostat Location

I got a replacemtent thermostat for my truck and I can't find it on the truck.  Does anyone know where it is?  It's the 180 degree thermostat for the hypertech III Programmer.

Trace your upper radiator hose to the intake.

It should be underneath the neck that the hose goes into.

its easiest to trace the radiator hose like YZR2K said. for me it was a real pain in the rear to replace since there is basically no room to work and the hose clamp wasnt fun either,but a little patience goes a long way. i put in a 160 degree thermostat from hypertech

It is on the water pump at the end of the lower radiator hose.  It is one peice.
