97 Silverado will not start

Took my truck to the store and everything was fine, when I went back out to start the truck it will not fire up. Turns over fine, fuel pressure at 45 when trying to start but will not start at all. No lights were on, nor have I had a problem previous to this. Sure could use some help.

I had a no start in my 01 silv v6 It was the cap and rotor. I got a little hesitation intermitintly prior, but no check engine light

have you got spark, compression and injector pulse?

You are on the right track. But, 45psi is not enough fuel pressure to open the tiny poppet valves inside the injectors, thus, allowing fuel to enter.

You need 60-65 psi of pressure.

 

Fuel pump, fuel filter.

Check for spark. Same problem in my 97 5.7. Ignition module failed. Easy bolt on replacement.
