Autotrac t-case

What years or models did the autotrac t-case come in? How do you identify them and did they come as standard equipment after a certain year or were they an option. Thanks

The Autotrac transfer case was first availible in 1998 and can be recognized by the "Auto 4WD" button above the 2 HI button. As far as I know the Autotrac has never been standard equipment as you can still buy a manual shift 4x4 as well as a Non-Autotrac electronic shift 4x4.
