So, as I continue my z71 search I came across a 99 OBS black k1500, I've kept my eye on this one for a couple weeks (just my luck its out of state so I cant see it in person). When I first saw it I swear it was $11,995 now its $10,995. By the way its got 111xxx miles push button 4x4 cd,tape,bedliner, but from the pictures it has the bench seat and I cant tell if they are power or not. Overall it looks good atleast in the pictures but you know how the pictures dont compare to actually seeing it.

So now here I am at 12:xx in the morning looking at the dealership thats selling it and it has "MANAGER SPECIAL" under it.

Should I be worried??? When I see the words manager special I automatically think great...this truck really is too good to be true, I bet its one test drive away from a failed 4L60E..etc

What do y'all think???

Thanks :devil::devil:

That price seems pretty typical for a high mileage cream-puff, at least thats close to what I was seeing when I was looking in March of '03....I was looking at a '98 Z71 ext. cab with 112K on it and the dealer wanted $11,900 but knocked $1000 off when I started headin for the door (I was still shopping)...I landed up buying a '95 GMC ext. cab w/142K mi. on it for $7500 thru a wholesaler buddy of a friend of mine..........

My buddy just picked up an LS model NBS excab 4x4 truck with just 100K on it and the 4.8L. The truck was a one owner vehicle which we both knew the guy, and it was in very nice condition. He paid $10,500 about 5-6 months ago...
