Auto Trac and Ford Keys

2 Questions:

 

1) I have seen Autotrac mentioned several times. My truck has Auto 4WD. Are they the same thing?

 

2) After searching quite a bit about the Ford Keys to raise the front end, I am not sure I completely understand. Here is what I take from the posts. Just installing the keys automatically gives you 2" extra in height?? If you leave it adjusted to the factory settings, you shouldn't notice much difference in the ride comfort with the keys??

If the top button on your 4wd says "Auto", then you have the Autotrac option.

 

The Ford keys will allow you to gain some extra lift on the front of your truck when you tighten the bolts for the torsion bars.
