Hey guys,

I haven't picked up a Chilton's for the truck yet - can anyone ID a brake code for me. 8 short flashes, 1 long flash. 1988 1500, 2wd, LO5 (5.7)

Also - in 88 was GM using MAP's or MAF's for their TBI setups?

  Have a look at the Diode Dynamic C1R light. It installs in minutes with their wiring harness and is super bright when backing up.   Guys, thank you so much for the help! Dealer called back and is willing to participate $7,000 towards lifter and cam shaft replacement. Basically complete engine rebuild. Our cost will be 5k. These replacement parts will be covered by a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty.
