Running Boards

I'm about to purchase a set that came off an 02 Suburban. Will they fit on my 01 Tahoe? The dealer said no that the Suburban is longer but I thought it was longer on the back only and the length is the same between the tires where the boards would go. HELP!!!!!!!

Dealer is correct. Suburban IS longer, has a longer wheelbase. Thats why the burbans rear windows open ALL the way and ours dont they have bigger doors.
