05 HD'S a little high

I went and looked at a 05 Chevy 2500HD Duramax Ally, loaded, leather, LT, 4x4, and the the sticker was $48,066.61. IS that alittle expensive or is the dealer, or is it just me

i think thats how its supposed to be when theyre loaded with the new dmax with 605 ft lbs of torque, thats d**n expensive though

my 04 stickered out at over 51,000.............I paid just over 40,000.......................................

i looked at an 05 dmax also, it stickered for $47,000! GM has added some cost in there. the 06 im sure will be in the low 50's. i think thats the plan, over pricing and then adding big rebates to make the deal look sweeter...when the rebates probably price them where they should be.

yep my new demo stickers at $48966 i do beleive and it has eveything you can get except sunroof. What did you have to get over 50K

Trucks prices went up period! If I were to go buy my truck now that I bought back in 2001. The sticker would be 4-5k higher. Its crazy. I want a D-max do bad it not funny. But I cant justify a 48k truck when a nice house cost 100k!!

My HD 8.1/Allison LT with XM, Onstar, DVD, etc., listed for $45k and I took home for $38.

I agree that the truck prices went up,but so did the rebates. When I bought my 2002 HD in late 2001 I thought that the 0% financing was the the deal of the century. I bought a 2002 Yukon XL two weeks after the HD. About a month ago I traded the HD in for a 2004 6.0 Crew SLT. With the sticker at 42,300, I ended getting it for 29,700 or there abouts with all the rebates. It turned out to be about 3000.00 less that what I paid for the 2002 Ext Cab HD. Overall, I am happy..

2003 2500HD LT ECSB 8.1L/Alli with Absolutely everything except XM. List was $42,900....i got it for $29,850 +taxes and tags. $50k seems way high, but that same truck in 10 months will roll off the lot for $39k i would bet on it.

A buddy of mine just ordered a CC with everything, dvd in the heads rest, heated seats, all the options, Dmax, Ally.............. $52,000 and a little change

mines loaded with every single thing available except the 4.10's and it was 53000 but i got some of it back with the sunroof/dvd system discount, and a nice 10,000 rebate, stupid chevy dealer wanted to sell me a 1500 avy with a 2000 dollar rebate so i gave them the story... i must say though you do get what you pay for in the newer trucks, with the dic center, xm, 6 disc changer, the heated seats are real nice, and the rear captain seats are real nice, the newer trucks seem to have more things to play around with though like the folding mirrors and dic, not sure if its worth the 4000 though but its a pretty awesome truck
