00' 1500 z-71 question

My 00' 1500 has alittle bit of a rake to it. Is this normal. BTW there is a Minute Plow frame on the truck. Im wondering if the previous owner lowered the front for the plow. Does this sound right or do these trucks just sit like that normally??

I think it's pretty normal. When I bought my truck new, the front end was 4" lower then the back. The plowing may have used up the torsion bar strength a bit too.

 

You can always re-adjust your torsion bars if you don't like the way it sits.

I doubt they were lowered for the plow, they probably never cranked them up to compensate for the added weight on the nose. What's the height differance? Mine was 2-1/2" nose low when I bought it. Six turns on the bars and it now sits 1/2" nose low, right where I want it. Just be sure to get the alignment done afterwards! Mine had so much positive camber you could actually see the wheels tilt out at the top!
