Custom hoods

I've seen a few Chev / GM trucks with hoods that look like C4 'vette hoods, some with more rise in the middle. I'm curious, were they a factory option or just from a common after-market vendor?

Are these common in other areas. too?

Your welcome,

Did you find what you where looking for? I'm thinking of installing two small hood scoops and they have some nice ones. Nothing that sticks out too much.

Yes, thanks - I was really just curious where they come from since they seem fairly common around here. Interesting that the fiberglass ones are more expensive than steel.

Yikes, don't do it dude.

The stick on /glue on scoops look like poo.

Look worse than the chrome rocker panel crap.

I would stay away from the fiberglass. go with steel, The normaly have to go truck freight also so check it out before you sign for it. I got mine from Summit Racing it was made by Goodmark ... nice unit!!!!!

If you can, steer clear of fiberglass.

I have installed several steel hoods made by Goodmark, Fit and finish are very high quality on their hoods. I'm getting ready to order one for an El camino.
