PCM for less

I'm in the process of working something out with Bryan from PCMforLess right now. Ever since my cam and spring swap, I've been getting major false knock from the increased harmonics of the valvetrain...it's very common with the 99's and 00's. Supposedly the 02 PCM's help this issue. Well, after ordering my custom tuned PCM and still experiencing the same KR, Bryan was willing to try and figure something out based on the 02 PCM for me. His customer service is excellent! He got right back to me immediately and seems very concerned with customer satisfaction. As it is right now, the truck is absolutely better than it would be without tuning, and it shifts like a monster. He has a GM truck himself, so he's familiar with tuning em. I'm sure that on a straight-up tune without the special issues that I have, he can nail it in a heatbeat!

pcmforless is a good guy. remember if you are going to mod the truck later it is going to cost some extra money. be sure to check all tuners.

A member on the Avalanche boards bought one and is quite pleased with it. Personally, I'll keep the "core" for any "just in case" warranty issues.

I'll prefer this over a hand-held programmer (although they may be a little more versatile). I don't care for my stock settings resting in something that could be lost or stolen easily, without another way to back it up. That's as I was informed; I don't feel comfortable with that.

With hand helds your factory tuning parameters are stored in the hand held while the "tuned" parameters are on the truck, and vice-versa.

I'm looking at PCMforless and they say this: PCM $250 Core $125 and when you return it within one week you get $115 back and you pay for all shipping.

PCM $250.00

Core $125.00

Total 375.00

Core refund $115.00

Total $260.00

What is the $10.00 for
