I have a 2003 Tahoe LS 4x4 with the 6 disk CD changer, is it possibable to add XM to my radio or do I have to buy a whole new radio?

You don't have to buy a new radio. If you radio is a stock hu with cd changer, all you need to do is get some parts to get XM. JP customs sell a kit for such upgrade. Here's the link: http://www.jpcustoms.com/store/customer/home.php?cat=676

After going on their site, print out the page, take it to your dealer's parts department, and typically, the dealer will come close or match the price. But show them the print-out.

 

I installed one of these and if you are tired of the bling bling of the aftermarket radios and want to return to the OEM radio, this is certainly a way to go. Includes XM receiver, mounting bracket, and the roof-mount (drill a hole in the roof!) antenna.
