avalanche body lift

I've been wanting to lift my av but wanted to see one first.

heinz field in pittsburgh I saw 2500 avalanche with 3" body lift

16x8 (I think) wheels with super swamper 305/70r16 tires. man did it look good. who makes a body lift for avalanche?

Rancho makes em (about $3000)

fabtech also offers one.

Are we talking body lift or suspension lift?

 

I have a Fabtech 6in suspension lift on my Avalanche.It retails for around $2,000.But it is a great kit, my ride is smooth.Even with that my 33's rubbed, but mainly because I had 10in wide rims. If i would have stayed with 8in I would have had no problem.

 

What size tire are you going for?

 

Performance Accessories are the best manufacturer of body lift kits. I talked to them about a week ago and they told me they are still about 4-6 weeks aways from having a kit for the Avalanche. They are suppose to let me know when they are and I will let you know if I do.

 

I am not sure about other manufacturers.

I am open to a suspension lift (rancho 1800.00 at 4-wheel parts) or a body lift (body lift is 1st choice>less money) the av i saw today definately had a body lift (crawled under neath her to see for myself). as far as tires go? 16x8 wheels with 305/70r 16 are my first choice (have them on my stock ram 2500 4x4 quad cab)

do you have any pics of your lifted av? i would really like to see them for ideas. i have seen many pics on sema but you have to guess at what you are looking at. lifting an av is not the same as lifting a pickup> with a p/u you already know what it will look like! i would hate to lift my av then not like it or to have chosen the wrong one! that would suck!
