BBSilverado Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 those of u with cloth interior trailblazer, do u get static charge from the seats in the winter time. its driving me crazy. i hate gettin zapped everytime i get out of the vehicle <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Remember the old static straps that people hung from the rear bumper? well if you do then you are old- just kidding lol they where a rubber strap about 1" wide and 1/8" think with a flexible metal strip in them that hung down from the bumper or any metal area and just touched the ground when the vehichle came to a stop. those where used to stop that annoying zap. Many cloth interiored vehichles do that too, my old chevy truck got me every time. This time I got leather- no more zap

Of course this would need to be done periodically, but it's worth it.
