Has any one changed lights on there trucks to LED?

I have been toying with the idea of changing some, most, or all of the lights on my truck to L.E.D's (except for the head lights of course). I was wondering if any one had done it and/or used the ones below.

as of rite now, I priced it out, it would be like 140 bux to do all of the stop turn tail lights front and back

I would like to do that myself, Also would like to do my trailer and my travel trailer as well.. would be nice to hear from others who have done this as well..

not sure about which ones are the best out there right now, there is several selling on eBay but some could be pretty cheaply made???? I have seen some that are a little pricey but look well built..

I did it on mine and had to put the regular bulbs back in, with the exception of the DRL's they are still LED's.

the LED's made my flashers and turn signals flash way to fast, and the brake and parking lights made a "light bulb out" warning come on.

Yep, it's sad that the LEDs don't draw enough current to keep the "smart" electronics happy... I think you can use electronic flashers for the turn signals, but I hadn't heard about the "bulb out" warning. That sux.

I like LEDs. I don't understand why the backlights on the instrument panel and elsewhere aren't like they use on cellphones, pda's and other stuff. Seem like they'd be plenty bright!

I did it on my old 95 Silverado, and immediatly replaced them with the stock bulbs. The LED's look cool but only project light from the front, they offer nothing from the side.
