99's will have some extra lights on if you put the escalde or denali clusters in

Not that anyone asked, but technically there is a small difference between the '03-'04 cluster and the '05 cluster; the DIC on the '05 cluster doesn't display distinct Personal/Business trip meters (I believe it distiguishes them by labelling them A/B) or the instant fuel economy readout. Yes, this may not be a big deal to many, and yes, other than that, an '05 cluster will work correctly in an '03 or '04...but I just wanted to point out that one small minor detail since it appears that some clusters intended for use on '03-'05 bought from third-party vendors are of the '05 variety.

my 04 is like that milage, trip, hours thats it no a/b or mpg estimater

99 is kind of a wierd year also...an 00-02 cluster will not swap directly into a 99 without some sort of modification. I believe that you will get an airbag light or something like that, 99silver5.3 knows exactly. I got my Denali cluster from JPCustoms since it was already modified and is plug and play.

What i want to do, is put an escaldae cluster into an 05'. or is there a gauge kit that would look nice?
