just ordered a FIPK today. I'm pretty excited. expecting it around tuesday. anything you guys could tell me heads up that might come in handy for the install?

They're pretty easy to install. Take your patience pills though for the rubber sleeves that connect the tube to the throttle body and the mass-af sensor. They take a little wriggling but not too bad. It took me about 30 minutes. It adds a little more umph and it's a little noisier than the stock airbox. It kind of sounds cool, though. Mine didn't do anything for my mileage but others have claimed a mpg increase. Oh, you'll probably have to trim a notch out of the fan shroud to accomodate the tube. A utility knife works very well. No need for power tools there.

thanks for the help yall. I had a buddy who had done one before without knowing it. it was about as simple as i thought it would be. that rubber was a son of a gun trying to get it around the main plastic air pipe. most importantly, now she flies
