03 Envoy HU Question

I would like to swap out the factory head unit in my wife's 03 Envoy. What kind of wiring harness adapters do I need for an aftermarket head unit? I can't seem to get a straight answer on this from anyone locally so maybe you folks can help.

 

The Envoy has the basic CD model not the BOSE unit.

Perhaps you should rephrase the question... what are you swapping it? another GM radio or an aftermarket radio?

My bad. I'd like to change to an aftermarket HU. Probably Pioneer to go with her Pioneer XM tuner.

You will need this adapter made by Soundgate: Part# GMCHIME or a similar brand.
