Heckethorn Shocks

I've got the 9000 series from JCWhitney, had them a year or so. I got longer ones so that they'd work with my lift. Nice ride, not expensive and I've had a steering stabilizer on an older truck for years before I sold it. Made a huge difference, no problems from it. Chris

Could you qunatify the "nice ride" a little better? How did it compare to the original shocks? Would you say it is soft, firm, hard and have the shocks helped with body roll, braking nose dive, etc? Do you think the shock is an offroad shock with just enough street manners to make it acceptable (for an offroader)?

I have another shock post on the first page entitled "Best value on shocks" that runs down my list of choices. I'm leaning towards the Rancho RSX, but its only a slight lean! I have the F**d keys and the front raised about 1.75 inches or so. Depending on shock travel I may need a slightly longer shock. I can get that from Rancho, Pro Comp and Heckethorn, but stock shock travel may be ok too. Decisions, dedcisions. ....
