odd noise when turning (from rear)

Well it sounds like its from the rear, its not real loud at all. I mostly notice it when turning at say 20 mph give er take some. Its not a clunk by any means but rather almost a groaning noise, or howling (but more of a groan) I thought it was onlt on left turns, but it seems I can get it to do it on both.

 

I have had the diff fluid changed once, maybe 40k ago.

 

Suggestions??

Just a guess, but it could be wheel bearings. I'd check for leaks and fluid level as well. I'm not a gm tech, but I'm sure there's someone in here who is and could help.

I have the same problem with my truck too, just started doing it, only when its warmed up though. If I'm sitting at a stop sign or stop light and I let off the brake (to coast / creep up), I get the noise, but when I accellerate, it goes away...

 

I also had my rear diff fluid changed out a few thousand miles ago by the "Stealer",.... I'm thinkin about double checking their "job" to make sure they did it right.... thats the last thing I need is a toasted rear diff

But... well I fixed mine on monday.
