More Silverado Troubles..

The Patient:

1994 Silverado

4.3L V6

184,700 miles

The Symptoms:

During accleration (and sometimes while crusing) I get a vibration...like I'm running out of gas, or like its missing or something. Idle is normal and sounds smooth.

Cat and muffler are brand new, so I know theres no obstructions.

Vaccuum? Spark? EGR?

What exactly does EGR do anyhow?

Thanks everyone

:D You might have the dealer check the fuel pump...sounds like what my '98 S-10 did...a new pump cured it....but wounded my wallet to the tune of $750.

Maybe injectors or spark plugs?

Yea...I was thinking something like plugs, but I wasn't sure if those symptoms were synonamous with spark.

Actually my fuel pump is brand new. I wouldn't think i'd be having problems with it already, but the gas gauge is acting wierd.

If the gauge is acting weird, I'd be checking the ground at the fuel tank. A bad ground would cause your pump to not work to it's full potential, and would also cause the gauge to go wacky. Since you just changed it, maybe something loosened up.
