about the 05 Burb

Buying a 05 burb, I have a few questions.

1) is the flex fuel engine a safe bet, it seems its the only 5.3 around ?

2) Dealer says they will install the DVD system themselves, is it the factory and qaulity or some cheesy after market deal ?

3) with these new 3:43 gears is it a dog. had an 04 with 3:73 and was pretty peppy

4) If I wanted dif tires then stock brand would dealer make a deal ? same size

I'm not sure about the other stuff, but I can help you with the gears. It should be fine if you don't tow alot of heavy stuff. My mom's Tahoe has them and so does a buddy's 2001 Yukon XL. He even pulls a light utility trailer with it occasionally.

1) Yes. No problems

 

2) Most likely cheesy aftermarket deal. I'm not aware of any GM accessory installation package DVD system. Keep in mind any aftermaket component would not be covered under warranty no matter what they tell you.

 

3) That's a matter of opinion I'd say. Seems peppy enough to me.

 

4) I don't know what kind of deal you'd want. You'd pay for the priviledge, that's for sure.
